RAISING THE BAR

Each year, this award is presented to honor an individual who has made a significant and notable contribution to the advancement of the local court system. The type of contribution made can vary. It may be related to performance, leadership, innovation, advocacy, public education or some other meritorious area related to the public good. The board of directors will determine the relevancy, level of importance and degree to which each contribution has made a difference. The winner will receive a check for and recognition of their accomplishment through the permanent listing of their name in the registry of past winners.

For 2019, the award criteria are expanded to include an individual and an organization in the judicial districts JI has a presence (15B, 26, and 28) that have made a significant and notable contribution to the advancement of the local court system.
