Brent C. Finnell is an Assistant Vice President within Bank of America’s Global Technology and Operations Organization. He currently assists with the company’s Interdependency Mapping Group which allows the company to meet regulatory requirements under the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protect Act, improve the global market service provider strategy, and comply with enterprise governance. Prior to joining Bank of America, he was a Senior Compliance Analyst at Duke Energy and served 9 years in the military as an Infantry Team Leader and Drill Sergeant Candidate.
Mr. Finnell volunteers in the community by sponsoring a local Iraqi refugee family he met during his military tour in Baghdad as assisted with resettlement under the Iraqi Refugee Assistance Program, participating in the FBI’s Infragard program, the World Affairs Council of Charlotte, ABA’s International Law section, serving with Team Rubicon disaster relief response, and working with local and national veteran’s organizations.
Mr. Finnell obtained his law degree from the Charlotte School of Law and graduated with bachelor’s degrees in political science and English from East Carolina University.
